About Us

It takes a whole village to produce good journalism. We found the space for such villages to be shrinking.

So, we came together. To form a collective of like-minded journalists. Who like to collaborate. To report on stories that put the spotlight on those in power. To shed light on how India's political economy and governance functions. We work closely with other news organisations to produce our work in different mediums and in multiple languages.
