Hey there,
We’re thrilled to announce the third round of our visual story contest, Polychrome!
Past submissions included amazing explainer animations, skits, and rap videos that reimagined our stories on farmer protests and Patanjali’s quiet trading of forest land. We were blown away by the creativity!
This time, we're inviting you to create a visual story based on a hard-hitting investigation by our associate member, Hemant Gairola. His story exposed how bank executives sold unnecessary insurance policies to customers for illegal incentives.
We love our in-depth written stories, but we also understand that many prefer newer storytelling formats. Polychrome is our small step in that direction, to explore different ways of storytelling. For this we believe in the power of collaboration! By teaming up with talented artists, we can retell our stories in a fresh and engaging way.
The Challenge:
Create a captivating one-minute video that retells Hemant's story in an innovative and fun way. We're open to anything — animation, live-action, mixed media — as long as it captures the essence of the investigation. Check out the awesome work from our past winners! They'll give you a glimpse of the possibilities: Round II winners; Round I winners
Keep in mind:
-Innovation, not expense: Remember, cost-efficiency is key, just like our investigative work.
-Be original: Your work should be free of copyright infringement and avoid abusive language.
And, we’ve increased the prize money this time! The top three winning submissions will receive cash prizes (Rs.20,000, Rs.15,000, and Rs.10,000).
Ready to unleash your creativity? Submit your entries by June 15th, 11:59 PM. For more details, click the link here: https://www.reporters-collective.in/polychrome
